WELCOME

Welcome to the web site of the former Derbyshire Ghost Society, now known as The Office of Parapsychological Studies. As this is a new site and the origins of the Derbyshire Ghost Society were initially in Derby, we have decided to rename ourselves as a majority of the members live in Nottinghamshire. The name is the brain child of Robert Young, founder member, as he quite rightly wishes to portray a professional scientific image of the group and the work we do and image we wish to portray. New site.... new name.

Firstly we would like to extend a heart felt welcome to all who visit this site and hope you find it both interesting and informative. As a group of professionals, we hope you too would feel a part of that group as you see what we do in the name of paranormal studies and appreciate the hard work we put in to reduce sensationalism and provide good honest accounts.
 
As a group of people who share a common scientific interest, we would like for you to be able to visit the site and be a part of it. By that we mean we would greatly welcome any ideas you,as our visitors may have, location ideas, and any experiments you would like us to test on your behalf at locations.

We also invite people who wish to have good thorough investigation of their property, all in strict confidence, to contact us and we would gladly undertake the work.
